With our country already spending $190 billion per year treating these preventable diseases, we must address the problem.This year, California Governor Jerry Brown approved his final 2016-2017 budget with $9.5 million allocated for school filtration systems to ensure California students, particularly those living in low-income communities or areas of acute water shortage or contamination, have access to safe drinking water.
