Warren Township Schools starting with the 2016-17 school year will provide physical education options during recess to meet state requirements, according to a statement from Interim Superintendent Elizabeth Nastus.
All public schools in the state are required to provide 150 minutes of physical education for students in grades 1 through 12.Warren’s fourth and fifth graders are now 75 minutes out of compliance while kindergarten through third grade students fall 100 minutes below the requirement.
