Senior Grants AdministratorShannon Melluzzo is the senior grants administrator for Voices for Healthy Kids and oversees the regranting program. She develops and implements an annual regranting strategy focused on funding community organizations to support strategic issue advocacy campaigns that advance equitable policies. Shannon goal is to ensure the grant application and administrative process is streamlined and user-friendly while collecting the information needed. Additionally, Shannon supports our team with project management leadership of work plan reporting, dashboard development and developing processes and systems to support our work.
Shannon has built her career at the American Heart Association for over 22 years. She is a detail-oriented project manager who enjoys turning a strategic vision into an action plan to achieve success with concrete steps.
She graduated from Coastal Carolina University with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and a minor in health. She knew right away she was meant for the nonprofit sector due to her desire to be an advocate for all. She is currently working on her Master of Science in project management with a focus on operations at Southern New Hampshire University.
Shannon spends her free time with her family and her many craft projects. She loves being outdoors and in her numerous flower and vegetable gardens.
