National Senior Director, Grant Management & Advocacy ConsultingErica Phung is the National Senior Director of Grant Management & Advocacy Consulting with Voices for Healthy Kids. She leads the team that facilitates grantmaking and provides hands-on field consultation and technical support to American Heart Association staff, Voices for Healthy Kids grantees, community-centered organizations, and coalitions working to advance public policy priorities to address child health and equity. Erica joined the American Heart Association advocacy team in 2006, previously working on local, state and federal policies that impact cardiovascular health.
A native San Diegan, Erica loves avocados on just about anything, working out with her friends at the Toby Wells YMCA and sunset walks at Mission Bay with her husband John and rescue pup Penny. A proud platelet donor, Erica’s donated over 9 gallons at the San Diego Blood Bank.
