Our people Annie Yu

Annie Yu is the National Senior Manager, Policy Research at the American Heart Association's Voices for Healthy Kids Initiative. In this role, she leads strategic policy research and development to advance equitable health outcomes.

Previously, Annie served as the Policy Innovation Manager for United States of Care, where she transformed community engagement research into actionable policy recommendations. Her work emphasized equity and uplifting the voices of people with lived experience in policy development across maternal health, caregiving, virtual care, and other issue areas. She has also worked for the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, Acumen, LLC, and the American Lung Association. Annie holds an MPA from Princeton University and a BA in Public Health and Legal Studies from UC Berkeley.
