Our people Aaron DoeppersDirector of Advocacy Partnerships
Aaron Doeppers is the director of advocacy partnerships for Voices for Healthy Kids. He served on the core team that designed and implemented the initiative, and currently oversees the team responsible for national partnerships and the initiative’s Strategic Advisory Committee.
For nearly a decade, Aaron served as the Midwest director for the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids, as well as, for several years, director of state policy and advocacy for Save the Children. Through these various missions, he has worked with a majority of our country’s state governments as well as communities from his hometown of Madison, Wisconsin to Appalachia, the Mississippi Delta, and the beautiful Northwest. Aaron considers it a profound privilege to have spent these years fighting to improve the lives of children, particularly those facing the biggest challenges to health and prosperity.
Aaron has three crazy, awesome children who continue to re-show him the world through inspiring eyes. He is also currently pursuing a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy. In any spare time left, Aaron is an artist, soccer coach, seeker of spirit along any available hiking trail and a community advocate in Madison.
